Cory Hutchings Performance Horses brand image
Cory Cory grew up in Arlington Washington where his family operated a horse facility. As a youth, Cory successfully showed Paints in all disciplines and won the World Champion Trail Horse title at the Paint World Show. Cory took lessons from Bob Boyce and at a young age decided to become a horse trainer. He has worked under trainers Darren Stancik, Mark DeForest, and NRHA Futurity Champion and Million Dollar earner Todd Bergen. Cory has competed in APHA, AQHA and NRHA horse shows.

In 2001, Cory returned to his home town to start his own training program. Cory's clients enjoy his individualized techniques, which vary for each horse, or horse/rider team. Always working with a plan, Cory sits down with his clients and works to understand their competition needs and goals. He enjoys working with Open owners, Non-Pros and Youth riders as clients.

Cory is a devoted father to his twin daughters Isabella and Alex born in 2003. They keep him quite busy when he isn't in the saddle.

In the fall of 2007 Cory moved his operations to Mount Vernon. Cory has worked tirelessly to renovate the facility, naming it Stargate Ranch. The ranch is a premier facility with many more changes still in the works.

Today Cory is a NRHA professional and focuses on reining competition with programs for Open Futurity and Derby horses as well as Non Pro and Youth riders.
